What size are the new HDTV sets?
The viewing area for HD screens is much larger than that for the typical rear-projection screen. Diagonal sizes of 40 inches or more are not uncommon and the largest luxury screen available is 65 inches. The depth of the set is also significantly different - old style TVs protrude a distance backwards, meaning they are bulky, difficult to
move and position. DH LCD and Plasma screens are flat, meaning they take up very little space and can often be wall-mounted.
