Early prices show 2011/12 champions Man City are favourites, widely available at 2.2. Rivals United are close behind at 3.5, with a jump to Chelsea on 6.0 and then Arsenal as far out as 13. Spurs and Liverpool are the last of this group of contenders, at odds of around 30, before Newcastle leads all the other teams in at 150s. Promoted Saints and Reading are predictably the highest odds and the favourites in the relegation market – both are around 2.2 to go back to the Championship next year. There are 12 teams showing odds of 10/1 or less for the drop which holds some value, e.g. for QPR at 6.0

The goalscorer market shows the usual suspects at the top; Aguero, Rooney and Torres. Suarez (15) and Welbeck (26) look more enticing – each-way odds are generally paid on the top 4 places at a quarter odds.
